The x235 features hot-swap, redundant power and cooling, integrated hard disk drive mirroring and Active PCI-X slots, helping ensure around-the-clock server availability and data protection. IBM Director complements the x235 availability features to help keep servers running. Also, the optional Remote Supervisor Adapter provides remote control of servers even if they are unresponsive.
